In my personal experience (might have just been the individual and not representative of the company), they did not get up on the roof, they did not get into the crawl space, and they missed a handful of minor but worthy issues I would have noted inside the house.

About 8 years ago, I jumped off the deep end and started a few successful companies (marketing, web & hardware development, event management, and a couple others).

Put his information on blast( Home advisor, Angie’s list and any other websites etc. ) on the web and word of mouth to any other real estate investors not to use that company.

I would not spend money on a web site for one property.

I read everything I could on BiggerPockets on syndications (including such articles as "The Compelling Tax Benefits of Real Estate Syndication") and searched on the wide web and nothing even hints at how a cash distribution (what I often hear referred to as a "dividend") is anything but taxable income like you'd get on a 1099-INT or 1099-DIV.So what is a distribution if it's so independent of the taxable income?

The instruction sheet will tell you which models can be interconnected, and you can often get that sheet as a PDF from the manufacturer's web site before you buy.I've also seen a suggestion to make sure that wired smoke alarms are powered from a circuit that also has a light on it that is used relatively often - like the light over the stairs, or the front porch light, or similar. 

The county's web server can utilize cookies, encryption, redirects, javascript, json responses, firewall rules and many other means by which to make scraping difficult.
