I'm a multi-family landlord in California with a regular J-O-B, but considering cashing out and moving back East to be closer to family.

My clients from the east and west coast love to do BRRRR and flip projects here.

We're focused on the areas east and southeast of downtown and the Woodlawn Lake & immediately surrounding areas.

My Dad: $50,000-250,000 (the range is dependent on if he were to sell the NJ house and divest himself of the East Coast completely, or sell the NJ house and buy a NJ condo and use the difference to help contribute to a unit out here in LA.

But still a very sought after area.There are exceptions to some communities a little South and East of Lake Nona and taper off a bit in Saint Cloud.

We have scoured all of the neighborhoods and suburbs in the Atlanta Metro area and most of the sought-after neighborhoods are outside of our budget (Morningside, Inman, East Atlanta, etc). 

We have seen quite alot of appreciation in the Fishtown/Olde & East Kensington /Northern Liberties areas in the last few years but its really hard to make things pencil now without finding a great deal and/or something that needs a good deal of work. 

I own, am planning to retire to the East Coast with my son and two little dogs.

Maybe look at an east coast ski area since they also pull in a lot of summer traffic. 

So east side sales comp is much better than the west side (because of crime rates).
