To me, being financially free would to be able to work a more flexible schedule, be on the boat on days when I would typically be at work or on the mountain on mid-week powder days! 

One of these days I'm going to actually be on a boat having umbrella drinks with @Bob B. when he throws me under the bus :)  Thanks Bob!

Not sure if I can give advice, but I’m in the same boat as you, kind of.

As of today, I am in the same boat as you, Sara. 

All at high salaries and the company does not generate enough to cover this level of overhead--and none of them work enough to justify their so called full time positions.I know about them as I had hired them to build my boat dock and they did not follow the engineering drawings/approved permit, used number 2 lumber for supports, etc. 

Once he put in the time and hustle and step out of his comfort zone he realized that his old comfort zone kept his family broke and DING DING DING I woke up to see that I am in the boat he bailed from. 

I am in the same boat where I want to move faster acquiring properties and don't want to spend months saving the money anymore.
