English litt, might help you write compelling marketing materials to find good properties; Anthropology may allow you to understand different cultural shifts in the housing markets; history could teach a lot of market timings in Real Estate.I studies Electrical Engineering and Economics, neither of which gives me advantages in Real Estate.

I'm wondering if we should be more specific about our rental criteria in writing our ads.

One way I am planning to find properties is writing down addresses of abandoned homes I see while driving around (I already have a few that I have my eye on).

Don't write off LA just because you hear people, especially on BP, complain about how hard or crazy it is here.

If you have the talent an connections to do the repairs and sell or refinance you can make a nice return with just your time.

Hypothetically, IF your husband DID intend to reenlist, to solve this issue you would just have to write a letter to the lender that said "I intend to reenlist" and you would also have to get a letter from his command that said he was eligible to reenlist. 

Presumably you'll have something in writing between your partner and yourself beyond an oral agreement right?

Those programs that you see for sale on Facebook and the seminars, they cant run comps for you, they can't write contracts for you, they cant find buyer leads for you, and I'm pretty sure they cant find seller leads for you.
