I want to get into section 8 as it does sound/seem very appealing, but I do not know what I do not know.

@Rose Ganoryou're not missing anything.  3-5 years gets you started.  10-20 years starts to get you a real portfolio that can start replacing W2 income.

And having income producing assets, it can replace need for employment in first place, right.

Sounds like they’re saying lowering their income $150k would save them $33k in taxes.But…don’t forget.

Some regions (like my own in New England) are over saturating, others at 90% occupancy sound pretty far from it.

I do know a number of the roofs need to be replaced soon.
