Monitoring - I have a camera doorbell, driveway camera with floodlight, and one camera down each side of the house where I can see the AC units, pool pump equipment, meters and trash cans.

If you put it in the laundry room, then you can also add a camera to watch it and the common area.If that's not an option, consider finding a trust-worthy Tenant with room - and willingness - to put it in their closet or up on a kitchen cabinet.

I like having an external camera system to monitor for crowds.

I think there are two takeaways here though:1) Make sure your lease clearly addresses this scenario, as it's not uncommon, and 2) I highly recommend installing DDL's (Digital Door Locks) and giving tenants only a user code and no keys.
