Did you contact references and check his work?

How have you done with expenses, quality of tenants, turnover, cash flow, their property management team, customer service, etc.

One way might be to talk to some of your past customers, and ask them what features attracted them to the house, and what features they found neutral, and what features they wished were different.

Check what services they really offer under "turnkey."

I did miss the payment from my last paycheck (I have it, but wasn’t able to get to the bank to get a bank check) so I was going to pay it this pay period along with another $370 (total of $740).  

I will double check with my contact there, but the response that you guys have provided put me at ease.

Prior to trial date, tenant make a deal to pay rent - so gives a check - and we dismiss the case, BUT THEN THE CHECK BOUNCES!
