If his/her agent contacts you about it, tell them that you have a signed contract and you have no intention of cancelling the contract without significant compensation.

The question is did you calculate your risk exposure and have other Cashflow or wealth to compensate?

An agent is compensated at closing. 

This is not really a great answer - but I would try to talk with someone at Cato institute and IJ (Institute for Justice)Not to get into a political quagmire, but unless the city compensated you for taking your property rights there is cause for suit. 

Most of the good ones are not going to give you what the seller is offering them for compensation.

Similarly, if a seller fails to fulfill their obligations, the buyer may be entitled to compensation.

Each time we had a performance review, I won trips and rewards but they kept increasing my quota, without raising my compensation.

The way free markets work is that increased risk must be compensated for by increased revenue.  

For example a house with a market value below a certain amount is not of interest to Realtors since the amount of commission doesn’t compensate for the time necessary to reach a successful transaction completion.
