Are the big box stores the best option? 

Plenty of hiking, biking, fishing and almost any other outdoor you can think of in close proximity.

The apartment will include partial furnishings, underground garage parking, basement storage, bike storage, and utilities included.

I realize this may sound like overkill, but the garage was in awful shape and we live in a mountain biking tourist area.

Renovate with period correct fixtures and finishes, most of which you can get at the big box stores.

It might be difficult to cash flow $1k/month with 4 units.We are here with a couple of extra mountain bikes.

I ordered a 4pack kitchen appliances from Home Depot.but they delayed the delivery twice (the new date is July 21st, but  they also could delay it again...)I want to cancel the order and buy from a different placeLowes and Menards also deliver in 3-4 weeks. ive  talked to Metro Appliances, but they dont have an online store.anyone know some local store I can just ask for a 4 pack, give general details of the appliances I need, a budget, and they can handle it in about a week?

Your agreement is that the renter cannot store personal items in the garage.

Local lenders are great since you can walk into their store, but a specialty lender will have a fully developed program built around what you as an investor will need.
