Hello everyone,I was just curious to see who among us invests abroad, specifically in vacation/short-term rentals.

Do I figure out a way to buy and leave as is and then renovate each place as they begin to vacate?  

The reasoning is because a non-paying tenant or one who is racking up damages can cost you more than the act of paying them to vacate (pay them after they are out and locks are changed).   

Maybe even start in a vacation type place and airbnb.

How many people are currently on notice to vacate, they will leave and it will effect your income?

I love that you would all go on a family vacation after the sale of each house. 

Another option could possibly be doing short term or vacation rentals such as AirBnB.

All items must be left in the same clean, working condition as supplied on move in when the Tenant vacates the property.

Put a large beach house on the NC coast under contract recently and wondering if there are any stories/tips on assessing a potential BRRRR opportunity in a beach/vacation area?
