Also, as mentioned above, completely stocking a house from scratch is a lot more expensive than you may think as everything adds up and up and up; so make sure you are budgeting your investment cost with that in mind.

Keep in mind that dead equity is the most expensive route to purchasing artificial cash flow.

You are on a good path but before you make a move keep educating yourself about what opportunities are going to best match your personality and the long term goals you have in mind.
