Yes direct bookings do have a big impact on amount of stays you get on both Airbnb and VRBO, it can be unnerving making the change but personally I would not want to sit around and wait on perhaps my only day off for someone to click accept, so it makes sense!

You are protected by Airbnb, but the reason why I mention it is because it probably happens on Airbnb all the time and you don't know it.

As mentioned its not just the cost of the home but the move and set up as well.

There are deals out there and they are waiting to be found by someone like you.

It may take some searching to find good candidates for this method because I often wait in between my deals coming available in the smaller markets but then 3-4 might come available at once.

Obviously we aren’t waiting on 30 years for full cash flow.
