I tried to hold out as long as I could but when my oldest was heading into kindergarten and staying in the city stopped making sense in every way.

For instance, I currently show 1664 posts (and it even says that right next to the link titled "All posts from Kyle" when you view my profile), but when I click on that link the number that shows up at the top of all the posts is 1555.

My initial thought was that I would head out of state to start and I still may do that, but it would be my first investment.

We are heading up to Michigan next week to prep that house for sale and will try and sell the FL house in the fall.Our plan is to use the profit from the sales to buy a rental here in Nashville (or possibly join forces with someone to flip.) 

For instance, I imagine you could paint the property yourself and not get in trouble but anything major, for instance that requires a permit, would need to be done by a GC.I would recommend calling some local lenders in your area, find one or two who are familiar with 203k loans and ask them.Cheers!
