Another thing to consider... that I am thinking of is perhaps some parents or owners would prefer their heirs to receive payments rather than a lumpsome of money to use it more responsibly.

I was under the impression putting properties in LLC is worth it after acquiring 4-5 properties and have a decent-sized portfolio.Also, if I do want to put a property under LLC, does it matter that the mortgage is under my individual name?

i feel like your cpa should have been able to provide you with better information than that on how to use this potential deduction properly. i use @beachwoodbuyshouses on IG and she's insanely knowledgeable on how things like this can work for each individual!

PA has some crazy law that if it is from an estate : borrower passed away then the auction bidder/winner is responsible for those taxes on the property which is nuts but the case
