They've also found that on average, real estate agents sell THEIR OWN houses for an average of 3.7% more than their client's houses: http://home.uchicago.edu/~syverson/realestate.pdf This has been written about extensively by Steven Levitt, a very well regarded economist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Levitt Now that Demetrius' entire premise has been proven to be flawed (that's what happens when you confuse your own opinion with fact), I really see no reason to keep arguing the rest of the unimportant details he brings up, many of which were also factually incorrect (see above post for details)...
