It's unclear whether the majority of these kitchen appliances are "new".I came across a place here in town that sells restored/used appliances.A lot of their inventory is slightly damaged/ dented, but there were some beautiful fridges, dishwashers, ranges that looked brand new.

With a LVP floor, no damage.

They don’t care about the odor and damage that is done to “some rich landlords” investment.

As a landlord, the immediate deal-breaker for me has always been the laundry-list of rules and regulations I'm required to abide by if I participate in the program; however, the agency is under absolutely no obligation to remedy debt or damage created by their voucher-holders.

IF so, just forward them the photos and request the Home Inspector who originally called out the damage to come back and say in writing that it's satisfactory.

For us, the best practice is to drive by and observe the exterior often (monthly is good, weekly is better), inspect the exterior in the spring and autumn, inspect the interior regularly (semi-annually is good, quarterly is better), and deal with maintenance needs and damages as we find them.

During inspection they found substantial termite damage and active termites.
