When I started out I did do flyers and I did go door to door but not as random as your question suggest.First I got the list of homes in pre-foreclosure the city and or legal newspaper and I went to work looking through the records of who owed what – making educated guesses as to values in each area – then I mailed flyers and or went door to door knocking on those homes where I thought they had equity.I also would go to the auctions and keep track of what homes sold and figured someone bought them for a reason and I would go knocking on their doors.Did it work – sure – that is how I got my first few deals.
