What do you think about daily/weekly rentals (Airbnb or Craigslist) vs. getting a roommate on a lease?

Yes I travel to the Detroit area daily.

I am graduating college next week and already have a job lined up. i've been listening to BP podcasts on a daily basis and reading real estate books regularly for the past 6 months.

The reasoning is that you've created a 2nd vapor barrier that creates moisture that has nowhere to go other than into the roof panels and as a consequence gives you rot which will have to be dealt with 10-15 years down the road.

He was harassed on a daily basis.  

I work full-time in SF and am new to Real Estate Investing, so BP has made my daily BART commute much more tolerable!

I have 6 right now, so I'm keeping it small so I can really focus on the daily changing of prices, pics and descriptions that you have to do to rent out as much as possible.
