My fiancé and I recently became a new investor march 5,2014 with the aid of an FHA loan with tenants in place.

Some of the blocks closest to the lake are actually commonly occupied by 6-figure-earning professionals. 

I have run numbers on the scenario and it does not look like it it worth doing, however, since to stay on the right aide of the law the owner, as an owner occupant, has to pay market rent. 

It competes with the most notoriously violent areas in San Diego (I lived there 5 years and my house took bullets as did my closest friend's house no where near my house). 

Hawaii is the closest Air Medivac and would appreciate any help as far as transportations for these wounded people.

I currently - -Look for vacant property, talk to neighbors, try to contact the owners-Advertise in the local paper-Post bandit signs -am placing flyers in every local business that will allow me to -belong to the closest REIA -Actively look for wholesalers, landlords, anyone in the business that may be able to help/provide me with leads.

Finding out how to motivate yourself and what makes you tick, will aid a tremendous amount down the road when you are ready to start investing.

I really take it seriously that your income is based on your closest friends, what do you think?
