It is in a central location in town and properties to west and south have recently been developed.The current house is in rough shape and will not finance.

I am a newbie investor looking to do my first flip deal in central FL. 

We completely remodeled the duplex to the studs, added central HVAC (forced heat and window units previously).

Central Heat/Air.

But here in central Maine, it's very casual. 

I'll be avoiding the D grade stuff for now, but I see the upside there once I have experience.Speaking of markets...does anyone have any thoughts on Upstate NY (at least a couple of hours from NYC), Connecticut (not Fairfield county, which is where I am from incidentally), South/Central Jersey, or Pennsylvania? 

I have SFRs in other states, but I have my first Duplex-hack in Grand Central, and looking to scale.

But, it does force you to have a central business bank account that all the money will flow.
