Anthony- My best advice would be to locate your local REI networking meetings and go to those events, they are the best for newbie's and networking with others in the area.

I would think much of it would depend on what type of RE auction you were attending.

However, as of now, I'd really like to learn about the essentials of how to begin a career in real estate investing.I figure networking events are ideal to learn about these topics, so I've registered for upcoming events with DREIA, BREIA and a Meet Up with GREAT Opportunity Realty.
