Some of my thoughts:Majority of San Diegans believe in anti-growth yet cannot pass any anti growth bills. 

If you don't have capital, lend your time to help those that have that experience and perhaps help them with a variety of tasks including raising capital, finding deals, etc.Places to learn and network:1) BP (of course), books on syndication from practitioners, networking at MF meetup groups to start then branch into areas you are interested that will increase your chances of learning and networking w/the right groups...etc.2) Legal / courses and conferences on syndication, MF investing, etc. 

They work across the country.And then Task Rabbit to hire a clean up person.  

@Laticia Braxton from a property management standpoint, do you think assigning a tenant the task of reading/reporting the submeters would work?

Pricevpoints younintend to work in, specific area, your skill sets, goals and likes/dislikes as far as real estate and tasks associated with that.

Out of town investors are amazed at how cheap these properties are, but they are also amazed at turnover costs vacancy and how anti-Landlord the cities are becoming.

My goal is to find someone who will let me work underneath them and help them out with tasks they find nauseating and allow me to learn the trade first hand.

As a matter of fact there are more and more hosts who don't even own the property. 2) Running a STR is a JOB requiring time AND skills such as : Tech savvy, Project Management, Multi-tasking, customer facing similar to retail, etc...

I have heard that it is a difficult task to maintain a fork truck lift.
