The money investment sucks, but it will definitely hold more weight in court than the "he said; she said" option.

We both currently own homes in a rapidly gentrifying area of Philadelphia and we see first hand the negative impact that uncontrolled and irresponsible development has a long time tenants.

@Steve Vaughan I did see the Rescission section of the loan along with the 10 year draw period but maybe I didn't give them as much weight as I should have.

I am relatively new in that I don't currently own any properties but have been reading and listening to podcasts at a rapid pace for the last six months and just put my first offer in on a multi family property last week, which I intend to live in for the first year.

In comparison to the rest of north Texas, the area hasn't seemed to appreciate as rapidly but definitely has been stable throughout the past 10 years. 

Our debt is typical but is a weight my wife and I are both sick of.

Also, the Spring taxes earn 5% per annum just as the overbid, and adds weight to the redemption amount, so do it!
