Probably not likely, but not guaranteed they wont fight you on it.At 3x's the cost, I'd continue to try and find alternatives. 

Try talking to more than one lender to see if there are any other alternatives that may be available to you.

The other alternative is looking a little further out. 

I calculate the return on equity of alternative investments and pick the investment with the highest return. 

As for the rest make sure your lender will handle that many loans if not you may have to go to an alternate source.

Also if you do purchase and renovate think about alternative rental housing.

@Chase Clemens We use Guardian...probably best to connect with them directly...they seem to be getting more selective with what properties they take on...As an alternative, check with the city...maybe they would be willing to sell you an extra meter if you install it...Good luck
