I just don't see how an individuals site could drive more traffic than a national one like I mentioned. 

Another thing that no one is considering is Traffic.

Offer carpet shampoo to main traffic areas, repaint 1 room, something that maintains the apartment and yet give the tenant's unit a fresh appeal to sign another years lease.

While I am not sure what Whitestown's stance is, but I bet the smaller towns that are a little further from Indy will be very open to AirBNB and other such services as it creates more traffic and tourism in their areas.

They might not need to be in higher traffic areas.  

It seems that while there is increase in prices and increase in foot traffic, the real estate economy will still take a while longer to recover.

Also, do you typically take a hands-on approach with the marketing to drive foot traffic to the tenants? 

Do you think the cost is higher in DC because of the logistics (higher traffic and difficulty getting to job sites, more code restrictions, sites tend to be smaller and more difficult to stage material in, etc.) 

What is the daily traffic counts from the department of transportation?
