I also like to go outside in, once the house is sound structurally I work on the landscaping then the interior.

Other ways to increase value would be to find places to cut or lower expenses (laying off bad maintenance or property management or renegotiating cable or landscaping services lower or even taking water or other expenses and making the tenant pay for them if that's common in your area) and finding ways to add income besides raising rent (putting in vending machines or coin laundry, storage units or parking spots).

My landscaper is pretty good chopping down trees and not charging me an arm and a leg, but this one was right under the power lines and so I needed a tree service company take care of it.

Account Closed are right, there is great demand for nurses in Sacramento and Placer Counties and they make good income; I assume those statistics translate to travel nurses as well.

Everyone,     I'm in the East End, and am currently looking for someone to take care of some smallish landscaping tasks--clean out old flowerbeds, put down weed barrier and mulch, and possibly put down pavers or bricks in a curb strip. 

Maintenance expenses have been high this year ($5100) due to termite, roof, landscaping, drainage etc. but all big ticket items are now done.

My department lead is a landscape architect with lots of parkland planning a design experience.
