I don't think the bath fitters will be as durable as a new tub, and I think you will find them expensive - they try to appeal to those needing a turnaround in a day, and you pay a premium for that.

As I understand it, 2 mortgage insurance premiums are charged on FHA loans (a 1.75% upfront premium and an annual premium paid monthly that is right around .8% depending on the length of the loan).

About a year ago I installed new laminate wood floor in the living room of one of my rental units. 2 days ago I got a call from my long term tenant stating that the AC unit (in wall) was leaking and had destroyed the floor because it had expanded.
