There is much debate here if its ever OK to use less than 50% for expenses.

With interest rates so low I am debating about re-fi'ing our home mortgage and buying some investment properties with the money.  

There has actually been quite a bit of debate on the site about it.

Currently kicking around the same debate in my head.

It is the classic debate between some money now or more money over the long term, also it will depend on the rate of return if it is low it might be better to sell and invest the money elsewhere, if not it is probably better to hold.

This point is often debated, but there are still deals to be had in the MLS - many wholesalers get deals from MLS and then flip.
