As we found that out, the builder looked closer to the 3 rooms and advised us to remove all the existing drywall and ceiling.

You could rob a bank...this is maybe ill advised

Not will be called but could be called.So an all cash payoff within 6 months or so (fast) versus a long hold (slow 36 month plus) is strongly advisable. 

Murphy advising that construction is no longer considered an essential business, I can't think of a way of finding out exactly how many units this will be or the exact type of apartments they will be.

Have your attorney state that the board members are being sued personally, and advise them to contact their liability insurer so they can be put on notice.

In the current economic conditions we find ourselves in I would advise anyone just getting started to start with buyers first, because right now there are buyers who arent buying and hard money lenders who arent lending.
