The benefits that influenced me to get my license the education of course as I like to have a strong knowledge base in whatever I do, the network of professionals that I'm now exposed to, and of course the savings since now I won't have to pay an agent for the transaction during a purchase.

But, a Ph.D. education is a wonderful, socially acceptable way to say, "no, I want to spend a ridiculous amount of time learning more, for a while, before getting a 'real' job."

@Jacob Wells Best/first thing to do is get educated.

I have a basic investor education.  

I have been able to educate and help so many people get on the investing path and start making money!

Education is key to this career.
