Gerardo,If you chose to go the Home Warranty route I would recommend doing in depth checking on their track record.

Without knowing the electrical situation, and just that’s “it’s old”, my first instinct would be to do “an electrical inspection”, which will be more in depth than the General house inspection.

I have gone through many proformas and so far feel that RedIQ or A.CRE have the most in depth offerings.

@Surarna Joshi - I pull data from MLS for each specific house and analyze that area in depth.  

Other sites have done some comparisons but none that are in depth on BP (that I found).Good luck folks!

It also might be a code violation depending on the depth of the pool.
