I know most folks are looking to retire early through passive income, and I wouldn't mind doing that (slowly), but I don't mind my current job.I currently have a property with two doors (renting at 1,850 and 850), and may be adding a duplex where I house hack one side. 

When you get folks from certain cultures you area always dealing with this... think about the posts  Help my house smells like Curry how do I get that out ..or some folks just cant seem to hit the drive way and want to park on the law right in front of the front door.. 

Utilize open houses and door knock regularly.

I was wondering, does door knocking really work and is there some type of company that sales names and numbers of home owners for me to cold call?

The thermostats are through inthrma.com and if there is a door or window open, it shuts off the A/C.

I wanted to get an attorney before I get the taxes current.The only good news in all of this is that I sent a door knocker out as many people in BP suggested. 

In the long run it builds trust in you and and I am sure it will open more doors not only with her but other friends and family..

(i.e. minimal kitchen cabinets, no dishwasher, older doors are ok, painting vs replacing items, etc)

Demand does not always increase but in general, prices rise as demand increases and prices decrease as supply increases, and vice versa.Interest rates are actually one of the main drivers of price, as they have a direct impact on purchasing power.

If you can do it, $250 per door would be much better.
