Melanie please stop mischaracterizing our business model.

Hi there, I am running a business with property management, construction and investor focused agents all working under one roof. 

With all the capital raised over this past market cycle, it seems as if investors forgot real estate was a business and you had to manage it.

I came here for advice, constructive criticisms even. 

In this case, they either have to make money elsewhere (hoping you have an old property that needs a lot of repairs) or they are going out of business. 

And their return policy is simple, they want your business!!

I'm so use to being involved in the day-to-day business of the property management side of things so I'm struggling to understand how much the new property manager should be communicating with me and how often.As an example, I had a tenant break a garage door recently (drove into the door on accident).

I have been guilty of working in my business not working in the business and it has created unnecessary situations.

Do you have a business ID at all?

I did have a construction management company walk a few properties that I was considering making an offer on/made an offer on (deals didn't go through) - the renovation costs consistently were over what I projected with my numbers and their opinion of the ARVs was lower (if you were planning to do a BRRRR, which I didn't).
