It would simply state that ANY civil union between two "people" (any combonation of man-woman, man-man, woman-woman), would constite ALL legal rights of a heterosexual marriage.

If the board is shirking on their responsibility, you can probably do something about it.Again, I am not a lawyer and recommend you contact one to explain all of your rights, and what you can legally do to correct this situation you're facing.BTW - I do NOT recommend you simply stop living up to your responsibilities by no longer paying your dues.Good luck!

Otherwise, they are tempted to think that they've already paid the last month's rent and that they simply don't need to pay the rent the last month.I NEVER sign the lease with a tenant or allow them to have the keys until I have gotten both the rent AND the security deposit IN FULL AND IN CASH!

My question would be why mess with something like this when you can enter into another market with less risk and more CASH FLOW.I think this has become a MAJOR problem, that many investors are looking to get into the game, but they are trying to stay in their own market and they can not make any money there.
