I did a few Habitat for Humanity projects and it is interesting to help/see build a house from the ground up.

Importantly, try to remember that if you were in their shoes (no success, no future, working a job you hate), there's a solid chance you would react the same way--it's just human nature.2.

Build your plan, that best fit's for you, and then at end get the human resources that fit your plan. 

I have found units at the local Habitat for Humanity store.

Everything I have ever said has been be as humanly conservative as possible and pay off debt on your properties.

I apply for a guaranteed home loan with the VA, call up habitat for humanity so it can pass inspection, refinance the house, could get the house even cheaper what is owed and maybe a lower interest.

This consumed three days of work * 5 people. (15 human days) Plus priming (2 coats of killz) and painting 4 people * 3 days (12 days). 

No challenges on this one, but a lessoned that was reinforced on this one is "meeting in person whenever possible is helpful for humanizing the process."

Human behavior is much like sheep in a herd.

🤣🙌Don't bother going down the "what is an asset, what is a liability" rabbit hole with him, I've been there and it will leave you pulling your hair out in clumps and weeping for humanity while contemplating if being one of the first people on a rocket to colonize Mars would be such a bad thing.
