However, I do have some experience with these types of upgrades in a project I was involved with a few years ago.My company gut renovated a 4 unit building for a CT Housing Authority to use as a model for upgrading the entire 162 unit project.

This president has clearly overstepped his authority and has put myself and my son in harms way by discussing blatant lies about us with him,even knowing I have had my brother removed from the property three times by the police for his aggressive and abusive behavior.Do I pay this fine even though I do not own a car, and what can I do to get him to stop harassing us.

Because the bigger money tends to to go for larger units and 2 -4 units are usually in less demand you should be able to find a motivated seller with a good price , then get them to give you as many concessions as you can,  so if you are getting a loan your down payment will be minimal.Last but not least get a good " LANDLORDING" book and never let the tenants know you are the owner, you will always need to be able  tell them you have to check with a higher authority when they ask for "stupid things".
