We did a lot of the work ourselves but subbed out all the heavy lifting (windows, cabinets, plumbing, etc).

Would y'all do other energy efficient updates to the house like new windows, insulation, and doors, even if not needed?

All new plumbing, heating, wiring, Windows, exterior, and interior throughout.

But the window in the kitchen could be shortened upward to be half the size.
