I love giving students the following assignement:Get into your car and drive though the downtown in your city.

I did some driving around today and located one that I'm going to pursue.

Today, I went to this house today on 17 Edgelea Drive, Chambersburg, PA.

She was willing to show me her passport and said the reason for her not having US driving licence is while she waits for her immigration papers she can continue to drive using Mexican licence (I checked online, it seems true).

This has allowed me to make very high returns and, in my opinion, they are safe, secure, and guaranteed for the most part.

I struggled through Mech Eng with a minor in EE.Then ended up in drive control automation & traveled the world on contract jobs.But that minor in EE saved me a lot of $$$ when renovating homes esp splitting the services for myself & others.If you're serious about RE investment an engineering background will save you a fortune & give you valuable insight into structural re-design (assuming you take some design courses) when you blow out the walls etc of an older home or add a room above an attached garage etc.It's a great discipline & you will never regret finishing.

I know anything where you pay up front is a red flag but I would imagine if it was specified in a well constructed contract it could be safe.

I know the downriver area from living here, and I am a firm believer that I should first invest where I can drive by it every day without too much effort.There are some wonderful opportunities in Detroit itself, but I limit myself to only a couple of neighborhoods I think I have a handle on.Listen to me talking.
