I recently changed escrow companies due to my prior one shutting down after 30 + years. 

The main value is the location (proximity to Cornell University and walking distance to local restaurants and shops).I got a quote to put a modular home on my lot of land at around $194k which would get me 2,000 sqft.

There are restaurants, stores, and activities that they can go to without knowing any English.

My eyes are shut for about 6 hours, my dad only needs 5 hours, late to bed and early to rise.Guess it's to give old folks more time being awake on the green side, more time for the buck list stuff. :)

@Russell Brazil It's right next to the Van Ness metro, so super convenient to grocery stores, drug stores, liquor stores, restaurants...and of course, the metro.

No restaurants, bars, shopping, public transportation, etc.

Partly because it is on a sandbar and the water line is shut off to all of the cottages on November 1.  

This is is in Iowa if that's necessary.Plus, I hardly think a phone call on the weekend from the utility company that they're shutting off service is practical notice for me to make necessary arrangements. 

Walkable as a vacation property, close to beach, restaurants and bars.

I think we have a couple more good years in the apartment world, but I'm also thinking we are going to see a year soon where rates go up 200-300 basis points in a year and the multifamily Acquisitons world shuts down until sellers accept the new reality.
