Where are the headaches- you have a relationship with the contractor and maybe plumber/electrician.

We just purchased a Multi family property in San Antonio and will need to rehab 100+ units. we are looking for  general contractors to do some bidding. we will be there this week. if someone can reach out and give me names of some GC that are good to work with that would be a great help.

My contractor is going on vacation and then can start.

I rent my 22 STRs to refinery contractors. 

There seems to be red flags all over the place and I will not enter in the actual contract or send any DD money until/unless this is resolved but since this my first time land-lording & buying a property I am here to find out what I can do while I am still able to negotiate a few things.

I've had a heck of a time finding an honest contractor that does good work for a fair price.

I do have another walk-through with a contractor set up in a couple of days though. 

Contractors are very hard to find.

Since the condo association is the one insured, should they handle the hiring of contractors to gut existing sheetrock, and put up new sheetrock?
