At this point I just do a driveby, I am more concerned about location, neighborhood, size of house and property than how distressed it is.

I currently have enough money saved up to purchase a 3-4 family using an FHA/FHA 203k loan in my desired location, which is Worcester, MA.

Tertiary goal is to learn enough and build enough so that when I do retire from the fire department I can take my knowledge and skills with me to my new location - most likely a beach somewhere in the Carolinas - and be able to invest locally in beach rentals. 

Hello All, So my mother and I️ just purchased our very first flip located in Philadelphia Pa. 

I'm located in the San Diego area, and am open to either small or large brokerages.

While we really liked the house, it's location and THINK we could afford to buy, we'd like to have time to explore all of our options. 

I would have to know your risk tolerance, your desired cash on cash returns, your location requirements to see if what you are trying to do is realistic or not.

I have a couple investment properties myself and I'm a CPA at a large REIT so I can review your numbers, as well as offering feedback on location, price, etc.

Jacksonville seems to have less MF on the MLS and less property taxes.Any advice, experiences, or thoughts would be helpful before we finally pick a location.
