Talk with @George Foster about his experience

I am currently a full-time employee of DirecTV, so i get to travel to all areas of the Chicago market all day, everyday.

This property has very strong financials, and management/employees will stay in place.This will be my first dive into the commercial side, so any suggestions/ideas are welcome.

There's no match for the military TSP like in the other government employees' TSP. 

The houses are held for owner occupy or city employees like fire fighters, police, teachers first, and then if no takers, they open to investors.  

Does this seem to be a smart idea as I will end up getting taxed as an employee on the repayment?

Done it from scratch twice and didn't pull a dime from my biz the first year either time...The sooner you can do deals the sooner you'll realize that you wanna be an employer instead of employee, but at this stage you should be focused on making contacts and learning while getting a paycheck IMO.My best advice to young people is to remember to define 'success' for yourself.

Ended up giving them all back but 10 and became a carpenter with no employees (can you say burnout?).
