@Damaso Bautista & @Danielle Rincon I was probably unclear when I said it is a competitive market...it is for the landlords and especially the newcomers...most students in the area sign with their off-campus housing about a year and sometimes even two in advance...this is something I couldn't even imagine and was totally unprepared for...last summer (before it was clear my previous GC would not hit the target date)...the only interest I got for the house was from last-minute grad students and very few of them...again...covid actually created more demand it seems.

My contracts are usually one year deals, 7-10 months long, and than come home for the summer and look for new deals to go back overseas.
