Basically, the economic activities will rise HUGELY for very, very few owners of Automation.

You can also check HAR for active rental listings, or ask a real estate agent to pull the recent “solds” (rented) rental rates from the MLS 

I am going on 12 years active duty now, have moved 7 times (not counting in-town moves or TDYs/deployments) so get used to this process!

The tax issue might be because the property is being assessed for a smaller home (SFH?) 

That is just to get the contractor out there to assess the problem.

I've read that lease options can vary geographically, so I was curious if anyone is actively using this strategy near Minneapolis?

As others have said, take out a minimum $1M insurance policy that covers your liability (make sure it covers short-term rental activity) and you should be fine.DO keep your receipts/expenses separate - like @Jon Crosby said, open a dedicated checking account (you should be able to get a free one) and use it for your AirBNB income/expenses.  

Today the selling realtor relisted the property on the MSL as 'Active' with no notice to us .
