seems that Chicago has some of that going around the Equity build charges by the SEC sound similar in nature.. that's one tough city to operate in..

Just be aware of two things: a) make sure you apply for service connected disability.  

It's my understanding that if you apply for pre-approval with several lenders, it's best to have them all perform a hard credit pull within a 2-week span, to avoid it affecting your credit.

Two rules apply:1) The cost of the replacement property must equal or exceed the price of the sold property (less actual selling/closing costs).2) Seller must reinvest All of the cash received from the sale of the property, to totally avoid taxes.  

It is the credit reporting agencies that can lower your credit score by applying too  many times.

What exactly is debt to income ratio , does this only apply to credit ?

Notify each tenant in writing that you intend to increase the rent and require them to apply and meet your standards.

Apply for a credit card and pay it off every month so you don't get charged interest.
