I've done my due dil with search engines, but I was wondering if some smaller players could be more attractive and not necessarily visible on the web. 

Once you demonstrate competency and value and can operate without supervision and get jobs done ahead of schedule and under budget you should be able to make $80-$100k. 

I am hoping for some sort of advantage and competency in a competitive environment. 

I think in case of big ticket repair items, it's best that you do your homework and get at least one competing bid yourself.

Many tenants do consider this and you are competing with some homes that may have 2 or 3 feet of blown in insulation in the ceiling. 

There is a MHP in my town for sale that looks as if every mobile home in it, is competing to see who can cook the most meth.what sucks is that its actually in a decent part of town.

They don't have the property on the market with people competing to get the highest price.

Again, not sure why arguing with a person who is agreeing on the vast majority of points, only disagreeing is I am aware of the major players in MN with holdings that would make your head spin, measuring doors by thousands not hundreds, even tens of thousands.  

Also if you don't have a competant CPA get one, and not just for year end tax advice.

Also, attend the note conferences (even virtually) so you can get an idea of who the players (and sellers) are.
