My scenario:I'm looking to get into my first deal with my long term friend, and we'd like to house hack one 2+ bedroom unit and rent out the smaller remaining units.  

I have great credit , the only debt I have is my mortgages, I house hack and pay no rent, live way below my means and I can save a nice chunk a month just keep getting denied.

Currently I am house hacking in GR and have 2 flips in progress.

In fact, I've heard numerous house hack stories of individuals doing exactly what you have mentioned.

Looking for guidance on expanding to more property I currently own one duplex (house hack) living in one side of the building and have small capital of about 60k cash!

House hacking is great because you can qualify for a low interest rate loan and move out/repeat each year.

So I'm here to fulfill my "why" question and learn anything and everything I can about fix and flips and house hacking.

California is so expensive so house hacking seems like the move.

I am seriously thinking of starting in real estate by buying land in cash and having a duplex, triplex or fourplex built on it through a loan from a construction company, and house hack by living in one of the units while renting out the others.

I’m looking to house hack a duplex really anywhere south of point of the mountain here in Utah (or possibly north if I luck out).
