This is watched more closely by the Fed than headline CPI.  0.3% is a touch high, but 0.1%-0.2% M/M is what the Fed wants to see on avg, so overall, not bad. 

This is because rents are a significant part of the inflation metric that the Fed looks at.The market is good for lenders, but it’s a different story for investors.

@Samuel S.If you own a rental in your own name and not an llc, have 3 properties total or less-including a primary, you can get a Heloc on a rental through Pen Fed at 80% LTV.

It has recently dropped to 20% after continuous fed rate increase.

But I lost my property manager because I wanted the grass cut.. ;-(  But any who, I am managing my own properties now and Im not too happy about it but so far I haven't gotten any calls.

I was going to use Navy Federals mortgage service for my VA loan but my realtor connected me with Jason Rea at NBKC bank and they gave me lower rates and faster closing with no points than Navy Fed.
