I’m looking at the long term.The tree in the back looks like it’s 100+ years old.

It's something I've had my eye on for a few years, and I pulled the trigger on a cabin in Lake Arrowhead earlier this year and have been doing quite well with it (so far - winter is a good time for an STR on the mountain, especially during COVID).I'm looking for the next spot; right now, numbers are telling me the Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley/Pioneertown area is my next best bet, but I'm worried about oversaturation.

As far as when to start your first rehab: best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago.  

My thought is a large concrete wall higher than it and the flume as well as additional fence, soil, tree boundary.

But cities like Seattle, DC and San Antonio will snap back -40%, like an errant tree branch on a hike with your girlfriend when you both aren’t paying attention 😬.

I know this if there was a tree on that property I would be sending over maintenance crew to trim trees at 8 am ever morning a couple days in a row then maybe other issues on property you could deal with 2.

Dirt, bamboo, palm, logs from trees, etc.......

I could see if a tree is down after a storm.

AirBnb's in this area would be in the mountains, preferably Big Bear and less so Joshua Tree.
