If an HOA has a lien against a property and gets a judgment, and then attempts to foreclose based on that lien, is it really possible to bid on that lien and take title to the property, assuming there are no prior judgments and that there is not a foreclosure in the works?

We operate on a postmark rule, where we call the payment good if it was postmarked one day prior to the due date, unless the due date was a weekend or holiday, and then it is postmarked the following business day.So- our payment is due the 5th, which is maybe a Monday.

That begs the question, if it's a required disclosure and the agent only did it after he lost the listing, does that indicate an intent to deceive on his part for the several months prior.

As this is a very small house, there is no cracking on the walls or ceiling to indicate this issue inside, nor is the floor badly sloped so you can tell without using a level (the rooms are small), and now I wish I had crawled on my belly into the very low crawl space prior to making the offer or at least brought a tennis ball to see how it rolls.
